Examine & test printed circuit. The most common reason a fuel gauge is not working or is inaccurate is due to a bad fuel level sending unit. Gauges not working (read 1408 times).
Web with the ignition switched on, if you ground the tan wire coming off of pin 18, the fuel gauge needle should sweep to empty. Fuel gauge not working (read 84705 times). If it were, your fuel gauge would be pegged to the 3 o clock position.
